Have Too Much Free Time?

When you get bored of the internet, nothing is on TV, your music is getting monotone, and no one will text you back, it probably honestly seems like there is NOTHING to do.

And I was a lot like that, but now I've kind of gotten obsessed with a weird fetish-- cards.

I've always liked Solitare and Hearts, but now I like to play Speed and Rumy too!

So try to plays some cards with your friends next time they say "I'm bored," instead of going on the internet or watching the latest Jersey Shore episode.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Submitted Question: Young For Makeup!

Hey, so this is a new segment I like to call, "submitted question". It's where I go through commonely asked questions and answer a few of them, and sometimes I'm sent questions! If you would like to submit a question, contact me through Claricefbhm@gmail.com.

"Dear Clarice,
My friends all wear TONS of eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, and makeup! My parents are strict, but they will let me wear some mascara and blush. Any suggestions to make less look like more?
Thanks!
Katie, Buckeye, AZ."

Dear Katie,
I know how you feel! When my friends used to wear all their sparkly eyeshadows and cute lipglosses, my parents gave me chapstick and maybe some Smackers. Honestly, though, you don't need makeup to feel pretty! Since you can wear a little bit of makeup, though, I would recommend buying an eyelash curler, and curling each part of the eyelash (tip, middle, base) and then applying mascara. That really helps them look long, and with gorgeous lashes, you won't need eyeshadow! Depending on your eye color, you could probably make blush double as eyeshadow. Dab a bit of it on your finger and lightly pat your eyelid, then wipe a bit of it off until it is just a pink tint.
Good luck!

Clarice

Is There Such a Thing As Too Much Foundation?

Yes! There is indeed such a thing as "too much foundation". Honestly, I think their is not really such thing as "too little". If you have problematic skin, sure, it's nice to cover up any pimples, bumps, imperfection spots, aka, "problem spots". If you don't, however, it's really not a needed thing. Yeah, it's nice to have an even skin tone. But I think foundation usually just looks tacky!
I think that it's quite embarassing to be looking at someone and see where their foundation line ends. It's on their chin/jawline, and you can usually see it if someone overdoes it with foundation.
So is there a such a thing as too much? YES!
Hope you know when to apply and when to stop:)

Thing of the Past: Tacky Glasses

I know that everyone at one time loved those glasse syou got at the movie theatre that made things 3D; they even made different colors and styles, and differently priced kinds;)
But honestly, I really didn't ever think those were cute. I mean, come on.

Oh well, I guess.

Take Out Box

So I know that most of you have probably had take-out at least once in your life.
I know that last year we decorated a take out box (started out plain white). We were supposed to fill it with money for charity (whoops, I forgot!) and give it back. But I put mine on my desk and filled it with stuff I didn't really have a place for.
First of all, they are super cute and kind of add a fun touch to any desk, whether it's at home, at work, or basically anywhere else.

You can purchase fun ones pre-made, or you could template your own, and then color it and decorate it with your own personal style!
Here are some cute ideas:

Have fun!

Book Review: "Darkest Powers" Series

I loved this series, from the first book, (The Summoning) to the last book (The Reckoning)! It always kept me thirsting for more.

It's based on a girl named Chloe Saunders and she has a power (she can see, talk to, and summon ghosts. Properly called a necromancer) that she doesn't find out about til later in her life. She goes to a group home, called Lyle House. At first she just wants to get out. She thinks everyone there is a little insane, and she thinks she will just play good and get out quickly. But as she soon realizes, there is a lot more to the Lyle House then she sees, and they quickly get caught up in many heart-racing, page-turning adventures.
Sound interesting?
Read The Summoning (Book 1), The Awakening (Book 2) and The Reckoning (Book 3) today!
